You are welcome to come early and stay as long as you like. The beach thanks you! There are places to grab a bite or a cuppa in this charming beach community. There is an Adventure Lab at the TJ Estuary with some gentle trails and a varierty of caches to find.
If you bring your passort you can hop over to the Mexico border for a few quick caches and gain another country suvenir. There is a paid parking lot at the crossing. Just be aware if you do head south of the border there are no weaons or ammo of any kind allowed.
