8:30 – 9:30 AM
Quartz Park in Redmond, posted coordinates
Do you realize how many cachers need a Friday CITO. Working towards a week of CITOs is hard for sure, so is filling 25 million pages of Signals Scrapbook, but this CITO will help with both.
We have held quite a few CITO's in Central Oregon but we have never held one on a Friday. Also very few cachers in the area have completed a Friday CITO. So, this will be a new adventure for most of us. This is a fairly good size new park, so we will meet at the posted coordinates and then head off in multiple directions to clean up this area.
Big things are happening in the geocaching community in 2025! What better way to give back to our community than by hosting or attending a Cache In Trash Out® (CITO) Event?
Every bag of trash collected, tree planted, or CITO project completed counts towards geocachings goal to leave the global geocaching gameboard better than we found it.
Since 2002, more than 770,000 geocachers have attended over 43,000 CITO Events across 152 countries, helping improve the outdoors through habitat restoration, trash removal, and other public service projects.
