V Regata Geocacher em Levada da Ilha da Madeira

Este evento foi pensado para juntar a comunidade de Geocaching com o intuito de celebrar o Dia Internacional do Geocaching de 2025. Para tal, irá ser realizada a 5º edição da Regata Geocacher em Levada da Ilha da Madeira No Campanário, na Levada do Norte.
O proposto é, caso o Geocacher queira participar na regata (não é obrigatório), traga um objeto flutuador, sem nenhum método de propulsão associado e com um tamanho superior a 3 cm de comprimento para uma competição que, espero, junte geocachers para um agradável convívio! O logbook estará aberto a todos os Geocachers que compareçam ao evento, mesmo os que não queiram participar na regata.
A prova terá as seguintes regras:
- Serão feitas 5 regatas para determinar o vencedor.
- A distância de cada regata a percorrer na Levada será de 200 metros.
- Se algum “patinho”, por algum acaso ficar preso, só poderá ser libertado após 15 segundos.
- Será usado o Sistema de Pontuação Bonificada.
- A pontuação total de cada concorrente na série será o total das obtidas nas suas regatas.
Será vencedor quem obtiver a menor pontuação na série.
- Se houver empate na pontuação de uma série, entre dois ou mais barcos, será desfeito a favor do barco com maior número de primeiros lugares, ou, persistindo o empate, com maior número de segundos, ou lugares inferiores se necessário, considerando somente os pontos de cada barco que contam para a sua pontuação na série.

To celebrate the 2025's International Geocaching Day, the 5th edition of the Geocacher Regatta in Levada on Madeira Island will take place at Campanário, in the Levada do Norte.
The proposal is, if the Geocacher wants to participate in the regatta (not mandatory), bring a floating object (bonus points will be awarded to whoever brings a rubber duck), without any associated propulsion method attached and with a size greater than and measuring over 3 cm in length for a competition that I hope will bring geocachers for a pleasant get-together! The logbook will be open to all Geocachers attending the event, even those who do not wish to participate in the regatta.
The test will have the following rules:
- There will be 5 regattas to determine the winner.
- The distance of each regatta to be covered in the Levada will be 200 meters.
- If any “duckling”, by any chance, gets stuck, it can only be freed after 15 seconds.
- The Bonus Point System will be used.
- The total score of each competitor in the series will be the total of those obtained in their races.
The lowest score in the series will be declared the winner.
- If there is a tie in the score of a series, between two or more boats, it will be broken in favor of the boat with the greater number of first places, or, if the tie persists, with the greater number of seconds, or lower places if necessary, considering only the points of each boat that count towards its series score.
