Β πŸŒƒ Over the past three weeks (20/6/25 - 12/7/25) I had the pleasure of having a massive caching adventure in your great city. πŸŒ†Β

During my stay I was able to accomplish many caching goals, I earned few project GC diamonds πŸ’Ž. Β I completed my traditional hidden dot day calendar 🟒 πŸ“† Β and took out a massive chunk of my mystery hidden dot day calendar πŸ”΅ πŸ“†Β

Β πŸ“… I hunted JASMER filling oldies πŸ“†Β

I saw many interesting sites with all the virtuals πŸ‘» I could handle. Β

🌏 I found some interesting geology with some fun earth caches 🌎

I had a blast in the Wairarapa with Wherigos 🧭 and I snaffled up as many letterboxes that I could βœ‰οΈ

Not to mention signing πŸ–ŠοΈ all the Β challenge caches I could find.Β

I enjoyed a fun event 🎊 that ended with a fun puzzle 🧩 and joint FTF, as well as snaffling quite a few other FTFs during my stay ☺️

And I also got to experience some amazing high πŸ’š FP caches.

πŸ₯° All in all I had an absolute blast exploring the big city and the outer suburbs. Β I can't believe how kind and friendly the geocachers of this big city are, so this is my chance to give back just a little to say Thankyou. πŸ₯°

Knowing that a lot of you have cached out the area,Β here are two basic tree fishing 🌲🎣 caches, all you need is a tree fishing pole, and maybe a pair of tweezers to remove the logs. If you do these at night another handy TOTT would be a good quality torch πŸ”¦ The choice of these style of caches is to coincide with the "Tools of the trade" treasure collection and meet both requirements of being a D3 and have the "special tool required" attribute.

Β

The Korokoro stream track, This evenly graded track follows an old steel pipeline from the Cornish Street entrance

upstream through mature and regenerating bush to the Korokoro Dam. The dam was the

first gravity fed concrete dam in New Zealand, built to supply water for the Petone Borough In 1903.
