July 24th - Edited to add: The event is now starting at the location we've held the CITO at before (which is at the newly changed, but current, published coordinates). Sorry to cause any confusion.
Please join us for our 2nd Cache in, Trash Out Event of the year.
The CITO is being held between 11am and midday at Melin Mynydd Park, Gorseinon on Sunday 27th July (which also just happens to be The Head Honcho of The Cachekeepers' birthday. I won't tell you how old she is. You'll no doubt hear all about it in great detail at the CITO.)
We'll be doing some litter picking in the park. There are wooded areas, open grassland, and flat, tarmacked paths. So it should be suitable for all levels of mobility.
Litter pickers and bags will be provided, courtesy of "Keep Wales Tidy".
As you'll be near litter, please avoid wearing open-toed shoes/sandals. And, if you have any gardening gloves, please bring them along to use too.
If you'd like to come along, but haven't been to an event before, or don't know what to expect at a CITO, please send us a message. We'll ensure that you don't get left out.
Also, although the CITO lasts an hour, that's the length of time that we (the organisers) have to be there. Please feel free to drop in for as long as you want during that time. This is geocaching after all, we get to play it the way that suits us. Oh, and expect a bit of a geochat at the end if the weather doesn't drive us away. (Plus possibly some birthday cake, if the birthday girl's been good .)
