Please come and be part of the adventure at the Annual ArkGeo Event and discover what makes the Arkansas Geocachers Association so much fun. Can you think of a better way to welcome Autumn of 2025? (Don't forget your September Equinox Souvenir!)
This event is for EVERYONE who enjoys geocaching in Arkansas, regardless of how many years you've been caching or the number of smileys you have! Match a face with a geocacher's name, talk about some of the favorite caches in our state, or come enjoy lunch together. We will list new information here as it becomes available, so please check the cache page often for updates.
The picnic shelter (#GS03) is ours for the entire day and we will gather even in the rain. Plan to spend the entire day, since the fun continues with free time to cache from 2-5:30 pm, followed by a CITO/Hotdog Roast Event --- GCB9TV1 .
TENTATIVE SCHEDULE:
- 9:30 a.m. Registration, pick up cards for GeoBingo, etc.
- 10:00 a.m. Free time to socialize, participate in the event contests/activities, or hunt area geocaches, if desired
- 11:30 a.m. Q&A Session with our Arkansas Geocache Reviewer, Chuck Walla!
- 12:00 p.m. DESSERT, PHOTO, CREATIVE CACHE entries DUE
- 12:00 p.m. Lunch starts and sampling of Desserts for Dessert Contest
- 12:30 p.m. ArkGeo Meeting held during lunch
- 1:00 p.m.: Contest awards and door prizes (door prizes include Geocaching.com membership and gift certificate-- must be present to win)
- 2:00 p.m.: Close this year's event
OPTIONAL FOOD SIGN UP FOR LUNCH: ArkGeo will provide the burgers & fixins and water. Below is a list of items you can sign up to bring to share, if desired. Bringing an item is entirely voluntary and NOT required to join us at any time during the day!

HOMEMADE DESSERT CONTEST-entries due by Noon.
Try out your culinary skills in our Homemade Dessert Contest. Bring your best dessert and compete against other cachers. No theme so give you best shot to wow us! Enter your dessert when checking in. Cachers attending the event will vote on the best HOMEMADE dessert while sampling your entries.
REACH FOR THE CACHE CHALLENGE (NEW)
Try out this new timed contest! You must retrieve the cache using an extended poll (not just knock it off), sign the log, and return the cache to its location! Come prepared to reach for the stars cache!
SIGNAL PLINKO (NEW)
Get ready to drop in for some fun! Our Signal Geocaching Plinko Game brings the excitement of chance together with the adventure of geocaching. Players release a token at the top of the Plinko board and watch as it bounces unpredictably through the pegs—where will it land? Each slot reveals a geocaching-themed prize, challenge, or surprise. Whether you’re testing your luck, collecting fun rewards, or just enjoying the thrill of the drop, this interactive game is a hit for geocachers of all ages. Signal the Frog is ready—are you?
CREATIVE GEOCACHE CONTEST-entries due by Noon.
Do you enjoy making awesome cache containers or devious caches? If you said YES, then you have to enter this contest! Create a unique and creative cache container and bring it to the event to show off. Attendees will be asked to vote for their favorites. It's not required but if you would also like to "donate" your cache container a a door prize let us know.
PHOTO CONTEST-entries due by Noon.
Bring your best photo taken while CACHING IN ARKANSAS. PRINT your favorite caching in Arkansas picture and display (in a frame, by itself, in collage, etc) for others to vote on. (1) The submitting cacher must have taken the photo and they must be printed. Your choice on the size.(2) The photo must have been taken while geocaching and in Arkansas (3) Entries will be limited to 3 photos per cacher (4) please put no identifying names on the photos .
GEOBINGO
This is always a fun way to mingle and meet fellow cachers. Participants will receive an extra prize ticket for completed forms.
WHO'S WHO on Your ARKGEO BOARD
Use the matching game as you mingle to get to know your board members. Be sure to stop by the poster board to put names with faces ... but the answers will have to come from visiting with them! Participants will receive an extra prize ticket for completed forms.
