Geocache Description:

Geocoinfest 2025 comes to a close, and invites you to this CITO Event on Sunday morning. Thanks for visiting and playing in Douglas County! We would love to see you one more time before you head wherever home is for you. We partnered up with Parker Parks & Rec, and the Town of Parker to provide a large enough area to CITO for this mega weekend. (Parker Water may also join in on the fun, and I will update if needed).

Trash bags will be provided by Parker Parks & Rec, and all of the trash we collect will be picked up by them. THANK YOU! Please leave full bags and other trash items off the path for pickup. Maps will be printed and provided on site for the clean up areas. We will also have flags to mark heavy or dangerous items.

PLEASE POST A WILL ATTEND SO WE HAVE ENOUGH WAIVERS AND BAGS.

You must fill out a waiver for this CITO Event. You can fill out a waiver onsite, or you can print it, fill it out ahead of time, and bring it with you. It can be found here: WAIVER or you can scan this QR code:

Alert: You are about to download a file that contains a waiver needed to attend this event. As the cache owner, I represent that this file is safe to download. It has also been verified by the local reviewer. Download this file at your own risk.

Guidelines -

Each volunteer must fill out a volunteer waiver and return it to the Town (provided by your organizer, who will return it to their Town contact).

Using Town provided trash bags, clean up areas of visible trash on Town-owned property and right-of-way.

Do not pick up anything that is too heavy to lift by yourself or with the assistance of one other person.

Do not pick up anything that is not easily accessible; never put yourself in harm’s way.

Do not pick up anything you’re not comfortable with and always wear gloves; mark anything necessary with Town-provided flags and notify your organizer (organizer will notify their Town contact).

Use Town trash bags for loose debris. Large debris that does not fit in a bag may be left alongside bags.

Leave filled bags along a trail for Town staff to pick up (organizer will notify their Town contact when clean-up is complete and where bags and debris should be anticipated).

Return any unused bags or other tools to your organizer (organizer will return these items to the Town).

If you’re provided a sharps container and you’re comfortable picking up the sharp, place it in the sharps container and return it to the Parks office for proper disposal.  If uncomfortable picking a sharp, use a provided flag to mark it, noting the location if possible and upon equipment return to the parks office, notify Parks.
