Whoohoo! We are back again!
Flash Mob time is here for another annual instalment.
In past years, we have:
Played the Kazoos on the public stage in Beenleigh Town Square (2017)
Held telephone conversations on a Banana inside the Logan Hyperdome (2018)
Had a public pillow fight in Springwood Park (2019)
Dropped bubbles on the Bandstand in the centre of Cunnamulla (2021)
Dropped bubbles on the banks of the Warrego River in Charleville (2022)
Made and flown model paper aeroplanes, again in Springwood Park (2023)
Lost our Marbles. Well, not quite! Near a shopping precinct in our then-home suburb of Rochedale South (2024)
AND NOW IT'S 2025!
We have chosen Boomerang Park in Raymond Terrace for a PILLOW FIGHT!
Boomerang Park is just off the Pacific Motorway. Entry is via Irrawang Street - turn into Boomerang Park (the road) and head up towards the water reservoir. Look out for our caravan, as we are towing it on our way north to Queensland.
Our plan of attack will be launched from the Picnic Tables at the given coordinates.
At the given signal, we shall pair off into the park with randomly selected partners.
The Pillow Fight should last for just one minute.
This year, we are attempting to coordinate a pillow fight in as many states as possible, and hook up for a ZOOM Video.
Please bring SOFT PILLOWS.
Then we return to the picnic table to sign the Log Book, AND to take an Official Photograph.
Followed by LUNCH. You are invited to BYO drinks and chairs. We will host a Sausage Sizzle for food.
