The 28.5-mile Soque River is unique, because it is located completely inside Habersham County.
The Left Fork of the river beings near Tray Mountain, and the Right Fork comes from Goshen Mountain. The two forks merge near Clarkesville. The river flows past the Greenway and Pitts Park, and it meets the Chattahoochee River near Demorest.
The Soque River is famous for its fly-fishing. Unfortunately, much of the river is on private land, but you can enjoy a great view of it here, while getting a nice walk on a flat trail.
This cache isn't meant to be hard (though it might be a little difficult for inexperienced cachers). You don't have to go into the undergrowth to find it.
*** Congrats to LaFavorite Cacher for being First to Find!
