This trail system is a recreational gem in the middle of Rapid City. There are multiple landowners who have cooperated to construct this trail system. Hikers and cyclists share the trails courteously. There are some trails only for hikers and others only for cyclists. Also on the hill is the South Dakota School of Mines “M” which commemorates graduating classes with names of the graduates on bronze plaques embedded in concrete.
This is the type of hide I try to avoid because I do not like finding them. I have allowed some contrasting color here unlike most of the hides I find which are usually a camo color. No, it is not bright red, but it is different enough that you should see it without giving up on the cache.
