Continuing up the ditch-bank trail. I found it a nice forest stroll that continued here as we finally get close to Hole In The Wall.
None are too far from the road, and some not too rough to access directly. Some are up a steep hill with treefall, rocks, the works. Why steep bushwhack when you can stroll?
This is a water drainage next to the natural creek bed in places, so beware of flash flood potential! If it's raining here or higher up on the mountain, go somewhere else.
Go past smaller fir in background image. Up from ditch, pass between two larger firs, behind old juniper on the ground.
More water makes it here, so poison ivy is around.
Enjoy!
