John "Ozzy" Osbourne - 1948 - 2025
The news just broke of his passing today, July 22, 2025.
Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath have held a tremendous presence in my life.
The world has watched his "Crazy Train" slowly coming down the track for the last few years but his passing has still left many of us saddened and shocked.
The Madman will be Missed.

I'm going to keep this simple and straight-forward.
You know what to do.
However....
It may be compulsory to crank some Sabbath up to "11" on your way to the GZ for good karma. If you choose not to and are unable to locate the cache, that will undoubtedly be the reason for your DNF.
---

Rest In Peace, Ozzy
Thanks for all the Good Times and Fantastic Memories

A)
The group's name and the title track from their debut album were taken from a horror film starring Boris Karloff. In this performance video, what is the name of the person wearing the green shirt with red stars?
7 = Johnny
8 = Ozzy
9 = Tony
0 = Geezer
1 = Bill

B)
Considering the huge success of the song "Paranoid", it may be surprising to learn that it was written very quickly and intended as "filler" for the band's upcoming album. Ozzy even recited the words from paper while recording his vocals in the studio. The song was originally released as a B-Side to another single, "The Wizard".
How many circular cut-outs are in the display behind the band in this video?
3 = 1 hole
4 = 2 holes
5 = 3 holes
6 = 5 holes
7 = 8 holes

C)
"War Pigs" has been a fan-favorite at Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne shows since its release as the opening track of the "Paranoid" album in 1970. Sadly, the song continues to be relevant today.
Maybe they didn't earn much back in those days... Who is wearing the shirt with the star pattern in this video?
4 = Bill
5 = Tony
6 = Geezer
7 = Ozzy
8 = Johnny

D)
A personal favorite, "Children of the Grave" is the ultimate antithesis to much of the 60's era bubble-gum pop music. This song means business and rather than talk about it I will simply say I hope you listen to it. This video is great.
Who is the first to enter the trailer?
4 = Ozzy
5 = Tony
6 = Geezer
7 = Johnny
8 = Bill

E)
"Dirty Women" is another song that transformed into a staple at later Black Sabbath performances. The guitar work and heavy-blues inspired soloing in this song is amongst the greatest in Heavy Metal history.
There are columns of colored lights that can be seen in this video. In a column of four, what colors are featured from top to bottom?
0 = yellow, red, green, blue
1 = blue, yellow, red, green
2 = red, yellow, blue, white
3 = white, red, green, blue
4 = yellow, red, blue, green

F)
"Never Say Die" is the title track of the last record Black Sabbath would record with Ozzy Osbourne until the band reunited for the "Reunion" album in 1998.
According to this video, how many different members have performed in Black Sabbath?
1 = 5
2 = over 10
3 = 0ver 20
4 = 0ver 30
5 = everyone had lost track of it by the 90's

G)
"I Don't Know" is the blistering opening track from Ozzy's first solo album, "Blizzard of Ozz". The song reintroduced him to audiences with a new band and sound and has been featured regularly at live concerts over the years. He also performed this classic for his opening number at the recent "Back to the Beginning" farewell performance in the UK.
Who are the performers in this video?
1 = Randy Rhoads, Rudy Sarzo, Tommy Aldridge
2 = Randy Rhoads, Bob Daisley, Tommy Aldridge
3 = Randy Rhoads, Bob Daisley, Carmen Appice
4 = Joe Homes, Rudy Sarzo, Tommy Aldridge
5 = Zakk Wylde, Michael Inez, Mike Bordin

H)
Another fan-favorite from the Blizzard of Ozz album, Mr. Crowley is a gothic-metal masterpiece about a mysterious and possibly very evil man with a history steeped in the occult.
Who are his band members in this video?
1 = Zakk Wylde, Geezer Butler, Mike Bordin
2 = Jake E Lee, Bob Daisly, Randy Castillo
3 = Zakk Wylde, Geezer Butler, Randy Castillo
4 = Jake E Lee, Geezer Butler, Randy Castillo
5 = Joe Holmes, Geezer Butler, Randy Castillo

I)
There is not much to say about the song "Crazy Train" that most people will not already know. This song is pretty much the signature song for Ozzy Osbourne's solo career. Originally featuring the incredible talent of Randy Rhoads on guitar before his amazing life and career were tragically cut short in a plane crash, Crazy Train was always a song that would unite audiences in joyous rebellion at an Ozzy Osbourne concert.
Including the band members, how many unique stick figures appear in this animated video?
5 = 8stick figures
6 = 7 stick figures
7 = 6 stick figures
8 = 5 stick figures
9 = 4 stick figures

J)
"Mama I'm Coming Home"
The funeral procession for a dear personal friend of ours began with this popular song.
Considering today's events, this geocache has been a bit of a tough build.
Hug Your Loved Ones.
When Ozzy emerges from the limousine, what is waiting for him by the door?
4 = A Child
5 = The Band
6 = A Doberman Pincer
7 = An Angel
8 = A Chaffeur
