Recently, quite a number of geocaches with a Jeep theme were placed by a certain “Caching Couple”. While caching recently, StevenCD and I decided to respond in kind by putting out some geocaches dedicated to the Ford trucks the F-150 and the Ranger out for people to find. During his driving career, SCD has had three Rangers and two F-150’s and has no problem with them. Can the same thing be said for the Jeep Rubicon??? If Mustang owners meet on the street and Ferrari owners meet on the track, where do Jeep owners meet? Answer: the repair shop !!. HA HA HA. But seriously I have heard that 98% of all Jeeps ever made are still on the road. The other 2% managed to get home !! (LOL).
There four caches in this series. All are medium size with two being winter friendly. Contents include a logbook, pencil and a 3D printed FTF coin (in only two containers). Access to he trail / road is located about 3.2 kms west of the Argentia Access Road on the right side (heading West) of the Highway. The road is in fair condition and even though we used SCD’s Ranger, I would not have any qualms about taking my Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness in there. I am curious to see how a Rubicon would do !! (LOL).
