Thursday 28/08/2025 18:00 - 21:00
After the fiasco of my last event - held outside in mid-December - my Christmas party privileges have been temporarily revoked.
Instead, I've been given the opportunity to arrange a summer meet when, hopefully, we won't all freeze to death...

The Garibaldi is my local. PLEASE see the note below about booking a table if you want to eat.
The Garibaldi
134 High St
Knaphill
Woking
GU21 2QH
Weather permitting, we'll be in the garden to the rear of the pub. The car park isn't very big but, if it's full, you should be able to find parking on Chobham Road or Trinity Road, or in the small car park on Sussex Road.
The pub and its kitchen aren't very big either. To make sure that they can cater, they have asked that those wishing to eat please book a table - you'll find the link (and their menu) on The Garibaldi's website. Please mention that you are attending the Geocaching event under 'Any Requirements' on the booking form.
Party on!
These events are a great way to meet fellow cachers, share caching stories and even pick up a few hints for those infuriating puzzles ... as well as enjoying a glass or two! If you've never been to an event before, you'll be made very welcome, whether you're from Surrey or further afield. There will also be the opportunity to swap and discover Travel Bugs and Geocoins.
The Surrey events are held monthly, usually on the fourth Thursday of the month. They are organized by local cachers and can be held anywhere in the county. We are constantly looking for new volunteers to host events, so if you're interested please click here for more information.
