This spot is ideally located as it's conveniently close to the family's accommodation, Casa da Enseada, in Água de Pau/Caloura. The area is known for its coastal beauty and proximity to, among other places, the picturesque natural swimming spot Piscina de Caloura.

What will happen?
Hopefully after a week filled with unforgettable experiences on São Miguel, planned from July 23 to July 29, 2025, it's now time for a last, short geocaching gathering. Today is your travel day, as you need to be at the airport by 1:45 PM. Your flight departs at 3:45 PM from Ponta Delgada.
This mini-event offers us a unique opportunity to:
- Sign the event logbook: Make one last Azores log for the trip.
- Share the best memories: Briefly recount the highlights from your adventures on São Miguel – perhaps from the booked whale watching tour on Thursday, July 24, exploration of volcanic crater lakes like Sete Cidades, or visits to the geothermal hot springs.
- Enjoy the morning atmosphere: Take a quiet moment by the coast, close to your accommodation, and soak in the fresh Azorean morning air.
Practical Information:
We're keeping the event short and precise (only 30 minutes), as we need to head to the airport later in the day. The purpose is a pleasant conclusion to the trip, where expectation alignment has been an important element for a good trip from start to finish.
Remember that the weather on São Miguel in July can be remarkably variable, with "a mixture of sun, clouds and occasional rain – often all on one day". Therefore, it is recommended to pack in layers and be prepared for changeable weather, even on this last morning.
