It seems that Pondersosa Park could use some help with trash cleanup. Here's a weekday CITO (before the nearby Event: GCB9YJ7) for those who need Tuesday and others who aren't available during the weekend. I'm trying out some after-work CITOs to see how people respond to them. Other recent CITOs have had quite a good turnout, so here's hoping a decent sized group can join in the fun!
- When: Tuesday July 29, 2025 from 5:30 to 6:30 PM (feel free to come earlier or stay later)
- Where: Ponderosa Park (811 Henderson Ave, Sunnyvale, CA)
- Parking: in the main parking lot and along Iris Ave and Henderson Ave (see parking waypoints)
- Please bring your own trash gathering equipment (e.g. grabber, gloves, bucket); I will bring some bags
- Group photo: 6:20 PM at the posted coordinates
Trash tends to accumulate in the parking lots, along the trails, and along the fences. I will have a logbook for those who want to sign, but it is not necessary to log a find. Posting pictures of trash you've collected is encouraged!
