Until the Meiji Restoration, this area was the residence of the Emperor and flourished as a noble district lined with the estates of the imperial family and court nobles—truly the heart of the ancient capital. After the capital moved to Tokyo in the Meiji era, these residences were removed, and the area was developed into a park and opened to the public.
After World War II, it was designated as a national park and, while preserving the landscape integrated with the Imperial Palace, it has been cherished as a place for strolls and relaxation.
It is a historic park where visitors can enjoy the beauty of nature throughout the four seasons. Hidden quietly among the trees — the cache is tucked away in my favorite secret spot.

明治維新まで天皇がお住まいになり、宮家や公家の邸宅が立ち並ぶ町公家町として栄えた、まさに古都の中心地でした。明治になって都が東京に移り、これら邸宅は取り除かれ、公園として整備され市民へ開放されました。戦後は国民公園（皇居外苑、新宿御苑、京都御苑の3つのみ）として位置づけられ、御所と一体となった景観を維持しつつ、散策や休養等の場として親しまれています。
四季折々の自然を楽しめる由緒ある公園です。木々の間にひっそりと佇むー僕のとっておきの場所にキャッシュは隠されています。喧噪から離れて、たまにはゆっくりしてみませんか？
