Nestled in the sleepy little town of Coulter, PA, you'll find access to the Youghiogheny River Water Trail, which begins at the base of the dam in Confluence, PA (river mile 0.0) and flows 75 miles north to the Monongahela River at McKeesport, PA (river mile 75).
There is ample parking along the road here. Walk through the opening on the side of the gate. No night caching. Also, I wouldn't recommend staying on this bottom road for long, as it is pretty beat up on the other side of town.
