This cache is in memory of our beloved poodle mix dog Skor. I came up with his name as his apricot hair resembled the center of a Skor chocolate toffee bar. He was our family pet for nearly 15 years. Skor loved walking Grimsby beach loop & seeing his many doggie friends. We walked nearly every day for atleast 3 miles or more. He helped me reach so many Fitbit goals over the years. We will miss the joy he brought to our family & friends.
Skor did cache with me occasionally & was at a few geocaching events; Never Bean Better Day, being one. This event was to enjoy the unconditional love of your canine. He enjoyed meeting other geo-dogs that day.
He travelled everywhere with us; a road trip to East Coast of Canada,across the border,cottage trips & visiting my son in Sault Ste.Marie. He also had been on many rides in our boat.
Dogs are man's best friend. They love you unconditionally,can tell when you're sad,are always happy to see you,they forgive you,are great listeners,always make you laugh & most of all make you a better person.Those of you who ever had a dog know all of the above are true.
Cache is a dog poop bag holder. Please bring your own writing instrument. Be steathly & place container back to the way it was found.
Please no caching at night in the dark here!
The cache is only a few months old and someone has destroyed the carabiner that was holding the container....applied pliers & cut it. So that is the end of that...not replacing that to get destroyed again. Zip ties now hold the container. Please do not damage the cache....I put a lot of effort into it. Thanks
