"Citrine"

Citrine is a transparent, yellow to brownish-orange variety of quartz. It's known for its warm, sunny color and is a popular yellow gemstone. Most citrine available today is created by heat-treating amethyst or smoky quartz, as natural citrine is relatively rare.
