Sometimes the best caches are the simple ones.
This peanut butter jar is tucked away in a peaceful wooded area where the birds chirp louder than the traffic and the squirrels might just judge you for your finders dance. There’s no peanut butter inside (sorry!) — just a logbook and space for small tradables. Please make sure the lid is tight when you re-hide it, and camouflage it well with the natural cover provided.
You’re looking for a repurposed peanut butter jar (clean and scent-free, don’t worry) hidden just off the trail. No need to bushwhack too far — stick to paths where possible, and tread lightly on the undergrowth.
What to Bring:
- Pen or pencil
- Sturdy shoes or boots
- A sense of adventure
- Your best squirrel impersonation (optional)
Cache Maintenance Notes:
This container is waterproof enough for the elements, but please double-check that you’ve sealed it tightly. If the log is damp or full, let me know via a log or message and I’ll come give it some love.
FTF Bragging Rights:
The first finder gets the glory, a sticker, and the eternal respect of woodland creatures.
Happy caching!
