In celebration of the 25th anniversary of Geocaching I wanted to set an interesting cache. I remembered a cache I found, early in my caching career, that has since been archived due to the CO having moved away, it was GC78BPG, set by Jennalena in 2017. I decided I would like to re-create this cache and I hope other cachers enjoy the find as much as I did.
The cache is close to the Tagish Bridge that crosses the water where The Tagish River (also referred to as Six Mile River) connects Marsh Lake and Tagish Lake (Where Two Waters Meet). There is plenty of parking near the cache at the Tagish Campground. Near the cache site you will see a stone marker with a plaque on it that tells some of the history of the 1896/87 journey to the Klondike Gold Fields and Fort Sifton, the NWMPs post just 2 miles upstream.
