About this challenge:
I have always loved long road trips—the kind where you leave busy highways behind and follow winding backroads through open countryside and quiet small towns. This challenge was inspired by the “Roads Less Traveled Challenge” (GCB17CT) in Lewiston, Idaho, and was placed with permission from Nuttyguy, the originator of this off‑the‑beaten‑path concept.
Did you know there are 251 counties in the mainland United States without a single Interstate or U.S. Highway? This challenge invites you to leave the high‑speed interstates behind and explore the quiet backroads of rural America.
Challenge criteria:
- Find 1 cache in 5 of the "Roads Less Traveled" counties (listed below).
