2012 m. rudenį buvo baigtas tvarkyti ir atidarytas lankymui Marvelės upės slėnis.
Aleksoto vietos bendruomenės rūpesčiu sutvarkius upės slėnį, atsirado galimybė patekti prie įspūdingų kaskadų. Tam tikslui buvo įrengta minimali rekreacinė įranga lankytojams: betoniniai laiptai, tiltelis per Marvelės upelį, informacinis stendas. Atsiradusi erdvė tinkama organizuoti masiniams renginiams. Vaizdingas slėnis anksčiau buvo paverstas šiukšlynu. Slėnio tvarkymo talkos pradėtos 2004 m., išvežant sunkvežimius padangų ir kitų šiukšlių.
Kaskados akmeninio tilto per upę prieigose pastatytos 1881 m. Istorinės slėnio nuotraukos byloja, kad slėnio krantus vokiečių okupacijos metais jungė lyninis tiltas. Juo iš Ringaudų merginos eidavo į pasimatymus su vokiečių lakūnais, įsikūrusiais Kauno miesto teritorijoje.
Šis mažas, 5 lobių treiliukas yra skirtas (ne)patogiam žygiui. Nepatogus jis tuo, kad palei upe yra labai daug šiukšlių. Nepaisant to – gamta graži, bet renkant šiuos geocachus kviečiu kartu išsinešti bent keletą šiukšlių, taip padarysime gamtą gražesnę ir mažiau užteršta.

In the autumn of 2012, the Marvelė River Valley was restored and opened to visitors.
Thanks to the efforts of the Aleksotas local community, access to the impressive cascades became possible after the valley was cleaned up. Minimal recreational infrastructure was installed for visitors: concrete stairs, a small bridge over the Marvelė stream, and an information board. The newly created space is also suitable for organizing large public events. Previously, this scenic valley had been turned into a dumping ground. Cleanup efforts began in 2004, with truckloads of tires and other waste being removed.
The cascades near the stone bridge over the river were built in 1881. Historical photos of the valley show that during the German occupation, a rope bridge connected the valley's banks. Girls from Ringaudai used it to go on dates with German pilots stationed in the Kaunas city area.
This small 5-cache trail is meant for an (un)comfortable hike. It's uncomfortable because there is still a lot of litter along the river. Despite that, the nature here is beautiful.
