Whitton Station
The line through Whitton was opened on 22nd August 1848. In the late 1920s Southern Railway built stations in newly developed areas and so Whitton Station was built. The station is a classic Southern structure with steel canopies and pre-cast concrete platforms. In Feb 2015 a rebuilding project was begun.
This is at least the 3rd incarnation of a SideTracked cache at Whitton Station. I archived GC6F5K4 in 2021. NoriMG placed GC9M9RV in 2022.
