Ferengi Transmitter Array
How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
A site dedicated to a man without whom, modern communication (and long car-rides) would be impossible. Easily accessible and a nice find for eBayers & Geocachers alike!
A good cache for the novice geocacher--not too far off major roads and relatively easy to get to.
Located near the base of a little-known site dedicated to a well-known inventor/entrepreneur. There is a converted military base nearby, but this particular area is open to the public. Cache is clear Sterilite container w/orange trim. The cache is located further back from the road than the monument, and not easily seen.
Inside I have placed a Ferengi's dream-come-true: 1 brick of Gold-Pressed Latinum (a molded replica made of resin, painted in metallic gold, and perfect for any collection or eBay sale)
1 unfinished brick of Gold-Pressed Latinum. This replica requires a bit of sanding and a coat of paint and you can buy your next round of Romulan Ale!
1 unfinished Starfleet PADD. This prop replica already has a grey basecoat (could use some touch-up), so just needs the detail work.
Enjoy, and remember the 3rd Rule of Acquisition: I found it; it's mine!
(((The cache has recently been moved to a much drier location and the cordinates & the clue have been changed to reflect that. It was cloudy, so cordinates may be off slightly)))
