Detroit Urban Art: An Album of Donuts

This is a small geocache series highlighting some of the Urban Art in Detroit and it's environs, originally started by scrapcat who has graciously allowed me to add a few hides to the series. As you drive through the neighborhoods of Detroit, you should always crane your neck both ways because you never know what you'll find down the alley or on the side of the wall. Art is everywhere in this city - breathe it in!

Before you stands a mural depicting a hyper-realistic portrait of a young man superimposed over a cartoonish background of donuts, sprinkles and other such whimsical items. The mural celebrates a renowned Detroit producer by the name of J. Dilla and his album entitled "Donuts." The mural is a creative homage to a Detroit musician. 

As with all urban caches - be aware of your surroundings, lock your vehicle, and take common sense safety precautions.
