Carmel Mountain is located in San Diego North County surrounded by
the communities of Saber Springs, Poway and Carmel Mountain Ranch.
The trails are well worn and easy to negotiate, although not marked
or maintained. I gave the terrain level a 3 because trail can get
steep at times.
The cache is located near or at summit and is in a medium sized
powdered beverage container. Watch out for barbed wire in the area!
A good place to park is Meadowbrook Lane in Poway- just past
Meadowbrook Middle School there's a culdesac at N32 57.810 W117
