Well, we're planning to be caching in the Bennington area to celebrate the International Geocaching Day and 25 Years of Geocaching on August 16, 2025. We also learned that it Bennington Battle Day. The Battle of Bennington was fought in Walloomsac, NY (about 10 miles away) on August 16, 1777 during the American Revolution and resulted in an American-Vermont victory. So, we have multiple reasons to raise a glass and celebrate the day!
We plan to meet in the outdoor area to refresh a little bit before heading back to the Berkshires. Please join us and share caching stories, trade trackables, and just plain relax after a full day of geocaching in and around Bennington. There is no purchase required to attend the event, but if you choose to purchase something it is at your own expense.
