This is a letterbox hybrid, so LEAVE THE STAMP IN THE BOX. It is NOT SWAG. Bring your own ink pad.
If you don't have a personal stamp, write a message or even draw a picture.
To find the cache:
Enter the cemetery and walk to your right toward the bench and historical marker. Read about the history of the Hendrix and Jennings families here.
Next walk 18 steps southwest to a square arrangement of large rocks.
Pass the Perdues in their rock home and walk further west.
Find the Jenningses on their family slab. These are my ancestors and kin.
Walk seven steps north of the northwest corner of the Jennings slab. Here you will find what you seek.
Be sure to recover the box with rocks and other natural camouflage.
This cache will be cross-posted on letterboxing sites, so you may encounter a boxer who is not navigating by GPS coords. Please give them ample courtesy.
Be sure to cover the cache completely before you leave the area.
Through this historic 1850s cemetery, I can trace my roots to the American Revolution. Yes, my membership in the DAR is there when/if I want it.
