DO NOT CROSS THE FENCE LINE
Cache has been placed with property owner's permission. Please be respectful and do not cross the fence!
Retrieve the cache from the fence line.
Besides, this fence marks the edge of a Poison Oak refuge. A very large herd of Toxicodendron diversilobum resides just beyond, and they're not shy about making contact. Don’t make any rash decisions. They are best admired from afar in their natural habitat. So just retrieve the cache while standing at the fence.
Important for Fire Safety: To prevent fire hazards, do not park on grass or vegetation. If the pull-out appears overgrown or vegetated, drive a little downhill and park by the silver gate (N 34° 56.751′ W 120° 13.716′).
If you spot any litter along the roadside, your help in picking it up would be warmly appreciated.
Depending on the time of year, there might be ticks, or snakes about in the canyon, and there is always poison oak nearby. So just be observant of your surroundings when caching.
In case you are not familiar with poison oak. I have provided an image below.
