This cache is a part of an ongoing series where I place a cache in a random city I visit. I figured I might as well place on in Colorado, and what better place than Colorado Springs. Colorado Springs has always been a meaningful city to me. It's where my grandparents lived when I was growing up, and I have many fond memories going to their house and places like Glen Eyrie and Garden of the Gods. I've always had a special place in my heart for this city. This letterbox will take you through the downtown area, which I think is pretty nice. Enjoy :)
Starting at the posted coordinates, head west towards N 38 50.037 W 104 49.424. There you will need to answer some questions. The next stage is located at N 38 50.ABC W 104 49.DEF.
A= The number of times the word Denver is used.
B= The third digit of the year it was dedicated minus 8.
C= The fourth digit in the year it was dedicated.
D= The number of letters in the last word of the main paragraph minus 2.
E= The day it was dedicted.
F= The number of letters in the sculptor's last name minus 6.
Checksum is 18.
Now head to those coordiates. From there, locate the tallest building in Colorado Springs and head towards it. Keep walking down the street, until you see an entrance to the building. Above should be three words, two of which are the name of the comapny. To find the final cache, calculate a bearing of XX degrees for YYY feet. XX= 1st word 1st letter plus 6. YYY= 1st word second letter minus 2, 3rd word 4th letter, 2nd word 4th letter plus 2.
