This Wherigo geocache is NOT located at the posted coordinates!
After extensive research, I have determined that Vermont needs more Wherigo geocaches (along with every other type of non-traditional geocache but hopefully better ones than this geocache!). So I thought I would get started with something easy. The 50 Cent Colonel is an extensive series in the Mid-West that are placed at a certain type of store that could be thought to have delusions of grandeur (although in my extensive experience most Colonels have delusions of grandeur as well). Think of the 50 Cent Colonel type of geocache as the Mid-West version of a guardrail cache (although the Mid-West has plenty of guardrail geocaches too). The 50 Cent Colonel geocaches are usually traditionals but not always. Shout out to Hunster for creating the original 50 Cent Colonel, GC6Y8JW, in Pennsylvania on 12/18/2016. Now there is even a sock puppet account dedicated to placing them that has over 170 hides although there are many more out there.
You will need to download and play the Wherigo cartridge to find where the cache is hidden. This Wherigo converts your player into a virtual version of the "Reverse Cache Box" which tells you the distance to the cache, but not the bearing. You may begin your search from any spot in the world using your Smartphone or Wherigo compatible GPS to navigate to the cache. The cartridge was created by -Waldmeister- and is available to download here. -Waldmeister-'s The first Reverse Cache [WIG] is the original cache in this family.
Your task is to find the cache by periodically querying your Reverse Cache Box for the distance to the final location. Try to use your Reverse Cache Box as few times as possible. All instructions and necessary information needed to complete the cartridge is contained within it. The posted coordinates are a good place to start your journey. This Wherigo geocache is handicap accessible but like many geocaches, winter conditions could easily make it much more difficult. The cartridge is multilingual. To begin, you will have to type this code into your player:
104370 313240 715773
Once you are successful with the Reverse Cache Box cartridge, you will be guided to the geocache to sign the log. After completion you will have a code in your inventory that will allow you to create more reverse Wherigo geocaches.
