The Yuma East Wetlands is a wildlife conservation area consisting of 380 acres of forest and marshlands, providing a unique habitat in the Sonoran Desert along the Colorado River. Visitors can enjoy the many walking trails and bike paths that place you in the heart of nature. The Colorado River and its water channels provide excellent Eshing and opportunities for water activities like kayaking and paddle boarding. The wildlife is abundant in the East Wetlands, so keep your eyes and cameras ready. Around any corner, you may see an egret or osprey, a bobcat, beaver, or coyote. Animals like quail, cottontail rabbits, and rattlesnakes may scurry across the path while you wait. Enjoy these beautiful wetlands, and please help keep them as beautiful as you found them.
The park is open from dawn to dusk, so no night caching!
Don't forget your writing stick. Be careful with the cache container and replace it as found.
