Get ready to celebrate the 25th anniversary of geocaching and the 14th annual International Geocaching Day this August! This special day, born from the unforgettable 2011 Geocaching Block Party, unites the global geocaching community in a thrilling celebration of adventure, exploration, and connection.

To celebrate 25 years of geocaching, there are two new souvenirs to earn for International Geocaching Day 2025!

International Geocaching Day 2025 finder:

To earn this souvenir, geocachers must find and log one geocache, attend an Event, or complete an Adventure Lab® Location between August 15 and 17, 2025.

International Geocaching Day 2025 hider:

To earn this souvenir, geocachers must have a non-Event geocache published between July 15 and August 25, 2025.
Any non-Event geocache type (excluding Adventure Lab®) counts, as long as it is published between July 15 and August 25.
Remember, review times may vary! A geocaching community volunteer will typically begin the review of your geocache within 7 days. It is recommended to submit your cache for publication at least a week before the deadline.
