Viaggiare
Ho avuto la fortuna di viaggiare molto per lavoro e la sfortuna di conoscere il geocaching purtroppo diversi anni troppo tardi. Molti paesi che potrei avere nel mio palmares purtroppo non ci sono ma qualcosa sono riuscito a portare a casa. Come sempre capita con le cache, alcune lasciano il segno nel cuore, vuoi perchè sono le prime, vuoi perchè sono belle, tra le varie cache “estere” che ho apprezzato di più ce ne sono due che sicuramente hanno lasciato un ricordo:
- GC6612: anno 2014, una cache del 2002 trovata dopo una giornata memorabile a Parigi, dove per la prima volta ho avuto il coraggio di affrontare la coda chilometrica per entrare al Louvre
- GC6BERR: anno 2018, prima cache trovata in USA e prima volta fermato dalla “Police” che poi mi ha aiutato a trovare la cache.
E voi? Quali sono le vostre cache che non dimenticherete mai?
I’ve been lucky enough to travel a lot for work, and unlucky enough to have discovered geocaching unfortunately several years too late. Many countries that I could have added to my record are unfortunately missing, but I still managed to bring something home. As often happens with caches, some leave a mark on your heart — whether because they were the first, or because they were particularly beautiful. Among the various “foreign” caches I’ve appreciated the most, there are two that definitely stood out:
- GC6612: Year 2014, a cache dated 2002 found after a memorable day in Paris, where for the first time I had the courage to face the endless queue to enter the Louvre.
- GC6BERR: Year 2018, first cache found in the USA and the first time I was stopped by the police — who then ended up helping me find the cache.

LA CACHE:
La cache non è ovviamente alle coordinate del listing, non è semplice nè da risolvere nè da prendere.
Non sottovalutate la difficoltà del terreno perchè potreste arrivare a GZ vederla ma non poterla loggare.
Attenzione che in zona, ci sono animali selvatici, alcuni anche pericolosi.
Di giorno potrebbe esserci un contadino, sicuramente pericoloso.
THE CACHE:
The cache is obviously not at the listed coordinates, it’s not easy, neither to solve nor to retrieve.
Don’t underestimate the terrain difficulty: you might reach GZ, see the cache, but still not be able to log it.
Be aware that there are wild animals in the area, some of them potentially dangerous.
And during the day, you might run into a farmer, definitely dangerous.
