Eastburn Beck flows into the river here and has created a shingle bank. Around here I have seen/heard Curlew, OysterCatcher, Sand Martins, Canada Geese (including the new pure white variety) Mallard, Lapwing and traffic on the Skipton Road (A65 as it used to be!)
06/06/2025 - this cache has been updated and is now close to, but not at the original co-ordinates.DO NOT ALLOW CHILDREN TO APPROACH THIS CACHE.
LATER - after a very eventful day meeting cachers along the river, walking several miles to and fro, this cache can now be set free again.
Please unscrew the bottom from the lid - carefully!
