Owls are nocturnal and hunt for food at night.  An Owl's diet mainly consists of small rodents, reptiles, birds and insects.

Owls eat prey whole and only digest what they need. They regurgitate what's left in what's known as an owl pellet. These pellets when unrolled usually have a fully intact skeleton and some fur.
