Geocache Description:


The ground of the All Saints Church in Rennington, Northumberland opening times: 

Monday - Saturday: 10am - 4pm.

Sunday: 9am - 4pm.

Please do not rely on these as they are a rough recording.

Some information about the church:

The chapel of All Saints, erected in 1837, on the site of an Aincent Norman structure, is a building of stone in the Early English style, consisting of chancel, nave of three bays, aisles, south porch and an embattled tower containing two bells: the interior of the church was entirely restored in 1888, when the chancel was richly decorated and seven stained memorial windows erected the octagonal font now in use is of fourteenth century workmanship, and was formerly in the parish church of Embleton: there are 140 sittings. The register dates from the year 1769. The living is a vicarage with that of Rock annexed, joint net yearly value about £145, with residence , in the gift of the vicar of Embleton, and held since 1886 by the Rev. William Robert Finch M.A of King's College, Cambridge.

Some information about the War Memorial: 

The War Memorial commemorates nine local servicemen who died in World War I. It was funded by local residents and made by Messrs T Watson of Alnwick, and was unveiled by Dr G Scott Jackson CBE DSO on April 10th, 1921.

 

This is an offset multi-cache, the physical cache is not at the listed coordinates. You will need to visit the War Memorial at these coordinates, and answer the questions below to work out the final destination - and if you do that correctly you should be able to find the cache.

The final cache is nearby, and can be considered a drive-by cache. Please replace the cache back exactly as you found it, and report a DNF if you don't find it.
