I have a TALE to tell of this cache
It started with my hunt to return the old archived caches of another CO "questing" to the geomap. I've been working on this reboot series, but also discovered several caches I never found before. On 7/31/25 I went out and saw this on the map, but as a small, it looked a little out of reach for a no-map no-tracker no-hints hunt. On 8/2/25 I came back and discovered a non-mapped trail that led right to this cache, so I gave it a shot. A good log from fellow cacher freeweez and a clear geo beacon secured the find, great condition. Now I look at the map, and see I'm about 400 ft from two nearby caches, so I trek up a little hill to find a proximity squeeze, but then get too close to a third cache. 28 minutes and some trampled shrubbery later, my foolish self remembers I can use the hide-a-geocache map to find a gap, and sure enough, one exists.
There isn't any great way to access this cache, except the trails left by me haha! Kept the tupperware container, logbook, and swag to keep the rustic vibe of the cache. Happy Hunting! Hope you have a more efficient path than I did.
