This cache is flying high like a silver eagle!
After you find the cache, sign the log, and take an eagle trinket - look straight ahead to the trees in the distance. Use your binoculars to get the best view. There is an active bald eagle's nest in the tree. We can usually see the family of eagles from September to May each year but they have been spotted in the summer too.
Please be respectful of the eagles and stay in the parking lot. Don’t attempt to hike closer to the nest as this can cause alarm to the parents and potentially cause nest abandonment.
