Instead, you will need to put your school-related puzzle solving skills to the test in order to find the location of the final, which is located in a nearby public space. Welcome to our "Back to School" puzzle series! With summer finally coming to a close, the kids are heading back to school and so are you if you want to earn this geocaching "smiley".
The City of Camrose has a number of different schools that students can attend to gain an education (in addition to homeschooling). There are a total of 10 different schools available for students between Kindergarden and Grade 12, each belonging to one of three different school divisions: Battle River School Division, Elk Island Catholic Schools, and le Conseil scolaire Centre-Nord (aka the Greater North Central Francophone Education Region). Also located within the City are two post-secondary school options: the Augustana Campus of the University of Alberta, as well as the Canadian Lutheran Bible Institute.
In order to find the location for the caches in this Back to School series, you will first need to solve a puzzle to find the final coordinates.
Saint (formerly Blessed) Carlo Acutis Catholic High School
This school is the newest addition to the City of Camrose, having just opened for the first time in September 2025. This school was named after Carlo Acutis, a young teen from Milan Italy who died of leukemia at the age of 15, and who was declared a saint by the Catholic church on September 7/2025.
As a school, Saint Carlo Acutis is part of the Elk Island Catholic School division. It offers programming for students in Grades 9 through 12.

The geocache is not at the posted coordinates. You will find the final at N 52° AB.CDE′ W 112° VW.XYZ′.
To find the missing coordinates, you will need to solve the following Grade 11 'chemistry' science puzzles:
- To find the missing north coordinates (AB.CDE), you will need to add 1.663 to the molecular weight of C4H10 (butane).
- To find the missing west coordinates (VW.XYZ), subtract 2.017 from the molecular weight of NH4Cl (ammonium chloride).
Assuming that you don't have your High School science textbooks handy (or a random periodic table lying around), there are a number of helpful websites that you can use to determine the molecular weight of a chemical. However we have also found that each resource or website might have slightly different numbers for molecular weight (usually only at the last decimal place).

The cache is located on a nearby public road right-of-way near an intersection with a side road. Please do not stop or park along the busier of the two roadways, as there is a logical place to park right next to the cache on the quieter side road.
