We are a caching couple who live in the capital city of Canada: Ottawa, Ontario. This will be our first visit to Iceland, and we have a couple of days in Reykjavik before we begin to explore some other parts of your beautiful country. We noticed that there are no events scheduled during our stay, so we decided to create this one, and hopefully meet some local cachers. Of course, fellow visitors from anywhere in the world would also be most welcome to join us!
We will gather between the Leif Erikson monument and the church entrance (and maybe duck inside the church entrance if it's raining). We chose to hold the event here of course because it is an iconic location in Reykjavik, but also because there are caches nearby for the visitors, and there are more possibilities for free parking here than other areas of the city (but see our note about the big Culture Night event happening on the same day, so expect crowds and lack of parking everywhere!).
