Echo Lake Park & Trail - CITO
CO-103 & Mt Evans Rd, Evergreen, CO 80439
Echo Lake Park is a park located along the Mount Evans Scenic Byway, which goes through awesome landscape and is worth the drive all by itself. Features a beautiful alpine lake.
There are two way to get to the CITO. You can drive up from Idaho Springs on 103.
Or you can take the more scenic route,
Evergreen Parkway to CR66 which turns into 103.
This CITO can be a 1 Terrain if you need it to be,
but there is also rougher parts of the park if you are capable of reaching those part safely!

When geocachers attend CITO Events, they help improve the outdoors by collecting trash, planting trees, and so much more. Attending a CITO is an opportunity to build community with geocaching neighbors and leave our incredible geocaching gameboard better than how we found it; a real win-win!
Safety Suggestions
· You should wear some form of gloves for protection. Additionally, good old trash grabbers or other pickup device can help create further separation between you and the litter. Also, don’t forget high visibility clothing, close-toed shoes, and sunscreen!
· Best practice: Don't touch the litter directly, but if you do, make sure to wash your hands before touching your face.
· Choose your litter wisely: Only pick up the litter that is safe to handle.
