The parish church is a cruciform basilica and, at more than 800 years old, the oldest building in the town center of Büren. It is Romanesque-early Gothic in style, in keeping with its period of construction, but has been rebuilt and expanded several times in recent centuries. Among the most valuable individual works of art inside are the tabernacle (15th century), the wood-carved pulpit (16th century), and the double Madonna from the 17th century.
