The three-winged, U-shaped building was built between 1719 and 1728 as a Jesuit college. At first glance, it looks like a castle, but it has always been used for educational purposes. Previously, the castle of the noble lords of Büren stood here. Together with the Jesuit church next door, this is the most magnificent building ensemble in the town of Büren.
