The Washington Park Arboretum is a 230-acre large garden managed by the University of Washington and the City of Seattle. Located in the central Madison Park neighborhood, people from all across the city visit to see the world-class collection of trees and similar plants. As with any place that is frequently visited, this area could benefit from a small CITO.
Let's meet at the posted coordinates at 10:30 to start the CITO. From there, you can either clean up inside the arboretum or venture the urban landscape of the Madison Park neighborhood. There will be a group photo around 11:30.
I will provide trash bags but cannot provide gloves or trash grabbers.
Thanks to Morhoff for suggesting this location.
Note: Use caution when picking up trash and be aware of your surroundings at all times. I, the event host, am not responsible for any injuries that may occur during this event.
My goal for 2025 is to host at least one CITO per month, plus a few bonus ones, to host a total of 17 CITOs this year. You can view my live CITO schedule here if you wish.
