Today, our CITO is in cooperation with the Parks Communities Officer | Parks Branch of the Logan City Council, who do a magnificent job in restoring natural habitats to their natural state. This is a geocachers only event.
They have allocated space for tubestock planting. All holes will be pre-dug and equipment provided.
You, as a participant, will need to wear sun-safe clothing, bring adequate drinking water, wear fully enclosed footwear, and bring a pair of gardening gloves.
The parking area is where the coordinates will take us. This is where we will meet to sign BOTH logbooks before heading up to the actual CITO area, which is a short walk along the banks of the creek (gully).
A reasonably early start at 8.00 am to avoid the heat of the day. Conclusion time 10.00 am.
There are several geocaches in the area that you can visit to extend your geocaching activity for the day, should you so desire. And maybe a refreshment geocaching Event as well.
