About Towrang Station
Towrang was origially opened as Mannafields (a nearby property) on 19 May 1869 and very quickly was renamed as Towrang the following year. It was an active station with a siding for transporting agricultural products. It was officially closed on 9 November 1974 and the station was demolished in the 1980s.
