Welcome to the Markham Woods Mountain Bike Trails! You seek an ammo can, out yonder. As these trails were built for the mountain bike crowd, hikers should give them the right of way. Simply hop off the trail, when they come gnear. Should you wish to hunt for the Adventure Lab, while you hunt for these Gnomic caches, the most efficient order is Gneil, (Lokosee East Loop), Gnorman, (Lokosee West Loop), Gnathan, (Mitch’d Up), Gnicholas, (Kessel Run), and Gnoah, (Oak Hammock)
This patch of woods is divided into five Gnomic gnations, each gnamed after its king, elected for his wisdom, courage, and beard length. At the posted coordinates for each gnation, you will hopefully find the King, who is waiting patiently to tell you how to find his gnest egg, an ammo can gnot too far off.
Gnichols is a gnation situated around the Kessel Run trail, and Gator Back trail, and is gnamed after it’s king, Gnicholas Gnage, a gnome who started his life as a thespian, before becoming an actor, starring in gnumerous Gnomic films. Gnicholas grew weary of the Gnollywood lifestyle, engaging in politics, carefully grooming his beard until his election as king. Being a film gnerd, Gnicholas gnamed the main trail in his gnation the Kessel Run, due to the fact that, in gnomic measurements, (1 parsec = 166.3 yards), that trail is exactly 12 parsecs long. Gnicholas is small in stature, like most gnomes, so he may be challenging to find. Carefully searching around the kewlest tree at the posted coordinates, should be successful.
This trail is directional, based on what day of the week it is. Mon/Wed/Fri/Sun goes one way, while Tue/Thu/Sat goes the other way. For cyclists, I placed this cache using the Mon/Wed/Fri/Sun route, so you may want to seek this cache on one of those days, to avoid having to take the trail twice. I have included the trail starting points and requisite directional days, as waypoints.
